Our school wants to improve and promote the use of the English language, that's why we celebrate the English week. Each year we choose an English speaking place for the children to discover and experience with it. This year the topic was Hawaii. An American State that is very appealing to all the children due to the variety and very diferent culture and traditions.
Some of the activities were colouring of Hawaiian drawings, sing songs, hawaiian crafts, watch a movie filmed in Hawaii, Book reading afternoon "Goldilocks" and "The Mistery Island", a presentation to all the clases about Hawaii, Hula dance, Hawaiian breakfast, and The Theatre in English "Mirror Mirror " respresented by the 6th grade students.
